Rep. Lauren Underwood endorses Chuck Rose for DeKalb County State’s Attorney
Congresswoman Lauren Underwood’s Farm Team PAC has endorsed Chuck Rose in the race for DeKalb County State’s Attorney.
The Farm Team PAC is dedicated to supporting exceptional candidates running for state and local offices across the 14th Congressional district in Illinois.
In an Aug. 6 news release, Underwood expressed her support for Rose and 39 other Democratic candidates for local offices, saying that electing Democrats to these roles is important to the long-term health of the nation.
“While extremist Republicans are advancing an agenda that will take away Americans’ rights, threaten our democracy, and make life more expensive – all while benefiting the ultra-rich and greedy corporations— the 2024 Farm Team PAC candidates are fighting every single day to lower costs and protect our freedoms,” Underwood said.
“I could not be more thrilled to endorse such a thoughtful, capable, and courageous group of candidates for the 2024 general election. I am confident that each and every one of them will make significant progress for our community and I am committed to helping them win in November,” she added.
Rose, whose background includes eight years in law enforcement and eight years as a prosecutor, said he was grateful for the endorsement.
“Lauren Underwood has done an exceptional job representing Illinois 14th District for the last six years and I look forward to working alongside of her to keep our communities safe when I am elected DeKalb County State’s Attorney,” he said.
